Zhang Research Group Joined the ACE Center for Evolvable Computing

The Zhang Research Group will lead a major research theme at the newly launched ACE Center for Evolvable Computing, advancing programmable and scalable hardware accelerators as part of the JUMP 2.0 initiative.

Electrical and computer engineering faculty from Cornell Engineering hold key positions in the newly announced ACE Center for Evolvable Computing, a Joint University Microelectronics Program 2.0 ( JUMP 2.0) initiative sponsored by the Semiconductor Research Corporation. Our group will lead a research theme that focuses on improving the efficiency and usability of domain-specific hardware accelerators in distributed systems, by enhancing the programmablity and scalability of the accelerators.
